I’ve been promising to take some pictures of the soap making process. Here is a picture of the oils before I’ve added the lye.

I think it kind of looks like pudding.

So, I’ve been doing okay at the 365 photo project. I feel like I could be doing better. I *need* to find a bag that is easy to carry for my purse AND my camera. I think I’d take so many pictures if I had a safe way to carry it around. Seriously, if you have ANY suggestions, let me know!

  5. Haha, I didn’t realize so many people hadn’t heard of it. It’s really yummy. Have you ever had like hot pepper jelly? it’s great on eggs or in like breakfast sandwiches.

  6. Aw, your pup is too cute! And love the nature photos – the sunset and the flowers are so pretty!

  7. Oh my goodness Charlie is so cute! And I love the flowers growing out of the bricks – awesome! I’ve been wanting to start a 365 Photo project for awhile, and I think I’m going to give it a go come April! I feel like starting in Spring will give me tons of inspiration.

  8. I got this Camera Coat a while back and I really enjoy it for my camera. http://utahvalleymoms.com/2014/10/camera-coats-discount/ (I’m not sure what happened to the pictures on the post though) It doesn’t feel as safe as an actual camera bag but it’s so easy to carry it around in my purse or on my shoulder. And it keeps it safe from scratches. But not so safe when I accidentally slammed it into an opening door. Carrying around my camera is an issue I have, too. Let me know if you end up getting it and what you think of it.
