What I’ve Been Up To…

I know. I kind of disappeared for a bit. Life is strange.

Here’s what I’ve been up to!

I got chickens for my birthday. I had 6 but a chicken hawk killed one. It was seriously so tragic. I had just gotten Rewind back to health and a chicken hawk killed him. I was sooo sad.

Baby Chickens Chickens!

My sweet Winston got hit by a car – I swear to God, I’ve never felt so much anger as I did that day. It was anger followed by such a great heartache… I can’t even explain it. He was killed instantly, thank God. He didn’t suffer. Our hearts are still so heavy from it.

I’ve been OBSESSED with Lipsense. Seriously. OBSESSED. It’s lipstick that stays on all day. I loved it so much I decided to become a distributor. You know, I’ve said a million times that I wouldn’t do direct sales?? Well, this stuff is so amazing that I signed up without a second thought. Love it.

Purple lips and NO lipstick mark on my PSL!

Chanel I let the little girls wear it to church every Sunday. Last Sunday Chanel decided she wanted to wear Violet Volt (one of my favorites) and I was a little hesitant at first because, I mean, she’s 9… but I let her do it. And look how pretty she is! Ugh! I can’t take it.  Savannah

Savannah wore Razzberry, it’s her favorite. This is probably my favorite picture of her. Her sweet freckles across her face… I could just eat her up. I can’t get over it. She looks so grown up here!

My Quirky Style Is Still Going Strong

Haha. Yeah. Polka dots, florals, boots… Me. Just me to a T. 14523192_10154586523563913_8100611768204973200_n

This was our Halloween booth. I was a mermaid. Totally adorable, huh???

Bonus picture of Charlie sticking his tongue out!

That’s an overview of what’s been going on the last couple of months. There has been SO much more. I can’t even begin to tell you. I am working like, all the time and that’s bound to be even more hours soon. It’s just a crazy, fun life. Alabama is finally starting to feel like home. It’s such a weird sensation. I never thought that I’d enjoy it here but I do. I love it.

How have you guys been???

Hair: An Update

I said in my last hair post that I was on a mission to grow out my hair. I had a list of things that I was going to do — not straighten it was one of them. Well, I didn’t straighten it for about a month. And I realized something. I hate when I don’t straighten my hair. I feel lazy and like I haven’t really gotten ready for the day. My hair took it well, it went nice and wavy/curly and it looked alright but I hated it. I hated it so much that I couldn’t even stand it. I kept just pulling it up into a bun and leaving it up.

So, I started straightening my hair again so I can feel like a productive human being. I’ve been on a mission to find good products and ways to straighten my hair and keep it healthy.

My revised hair care tips:

My Brush

A vented paddle brush – I use this brush when I’m blow drying my hair. It makes such a huge difference in drying time. I don’t know how i lived without a vented paddle brush. I seriously can’t even tell you how thick my hair is. It’s thick enough that if I am letting my hair air dry, it takes 3 to 4 HOURS to air dry completely – sometimes longer. It’s horrible. It can take me forever to blow dry my hair so if I can cut down any time under the blow dryer, I’m going to do it. This brush, this is the key to drying your hair faster.

Products I Use

Argan Oil – I put argan oil on my hair before I blow dry it. My hair is naturally dry so it needs all the extra help in staying moisturized that it can get. I’ve been a huge fan of Argan oil for a long time – I even use it in my beard care line – it’s amazing for hair and nails and even your skin. You have to be careful when you use this, you don’t want to make your hair too oily. I mostly just apply it to my ends. I’ve been told that Argan oil helps protect hair from breakage and heat damage.

Tools I Use

Flat Iron – Tourmaline ceramic flat iron – mine is actually blue because I didn’t see a purple one when I bought it. Tourmaline ceramic is supposed to help with frizz and static. Whether this is true or not, I can’t say. I have no complaints about my flat iron though. It straightens my hair perfectly. I use a low heat setting and am able to get my hair straight and it stays straight until I wash it again.

Blow Dryer with Diffuser – I don’t have a super fancy blow dryer. I use this one one a low heat setting and use the diffuser attachment. I don’t use this every time I wash my hair. Sometimes I just let my hair air dry and then I use my flat iron.

Other Helpful Information

I’ve spent so much time online trying to find the best things for my hair. I know, it’s a weird thing to be obsessed with but I am currently obsessed with my hair. I want long, pretty mermaid hair. I really have spent hours and hours online reading hair product reviews, tips, tricks, tools, and anything else I can get my hands on. I’ve found some really helpful blogs and articles. One in particular is Straight Hair Club – It’s kind of a mix of everything I need in one place. I have information about products and tools right there as well as tips an articles on how to keep your hair healthy AND straighten it! Bonus, right? I seriously need all the hair help I can get at this point. I found this article, Do’s and Don’t’s of When Straightening Your Hair, helpful. I haven’t ever used a comb when I am straightening my hair until very recently and it’s made a difference! I also enjoyed this one about How to Protect Your Hair From Damage When Using a Flat Iron –  it was full of great tips on how to protect my hair.

Have you checked out Straight Hair Club

Hair Hair Hair

I’m in a constant struggle of what I want to do with my hair. Do I want it long? Yes. Do I want it short? Yes. Do I want it colorful? Yes. Do I want it natural? Yes. Do you see the problem? I want all of the things. So… I sat down and was like, “let’s get serious about this hair situation.”

I did a thing….

A photo posted by Blogger & Soapmaker (@thenerdyfoxblog) on

This is my hair a couple of weeks ago, straightened. Right after I used Ion Color Brilliance on my hair. It washed out after 2 washes. I wouldn’t recommend that product, like at all. Anyway, this gives you an idea of how long my hair is right now. I’ll be posting more pictures of my hair when it’s not straightened, probably on instagram

So, I’m going to grow my hair out. I want long mermaid hair. Why am I telling you this? Because you are going to hold me accountable for my hair growth. Yay!

But wait, there’s more.

I want -healthy- hair

I’ve compiled a list of things that I am going to do and products I’m going to use to ensure that.

  • Kick the sulfates.  I’m not going to use any sulfates in my hair. This isn’t too big of a deal because I’ve already made the switch to no sulfates. I didn’t  even mean to do this one but I did. Mostly because I’m obsessed with the Not Your Mother’s hair products so I gradually made the switch over and didn’t even realize I was cutting out sulfates.
  • Little to No Heat. Okay, this one is going to be the hardest for me. I have wavy hair. I generally straighten it because if I don’t it ends up being a big poofy mess. But, Alabama is hot and I hate blow drying my hair because you just end up sweating and getting your hair all gross again anyway… So Little to no heat. Preferably no heat.
  • Deep Condition/Hair Mask. I’m sometimes really good about putting in a hair mask or deep conditioner but I’m more than often not… So i’m going to try and do this at least once a week. I have really dry hair (Thanks, wavy hair… and bleach.) so I’m not worried too much about over conditioning it.
  • No Color – Easy enough I haven’t really colored my hair in months. I put some pink Ion in a couple weeks ago but it’s already gone and it’s a non-damaging kind of dye (Like Manic Panic) so, this one will be super easy to follow.
  • Hair Safe Accessories – No elastics, metal, etc. I use the hair ties without the metal connector already and hardly use bobby pins. I put my hair up while I sleep – usually on top of my head. That’s generally the only time my hair is up. Unless it’s super hot and then it goes up in a bun.
  • Drink More Water/Take Vitamins. I’m so bad at vitamins. I’m horrible at it, actually. I take so many allergy medicines and asthma medicines that I hate the idea of taking another pill. But, I’m going to take my vitamins regularly. I’ve made an alarm on my phone even! I cut out soda a long time ago so I have been drinking a lot of juice and water already but I’m going to actively watch my water intake.

Things I’m already doing for my hair

  • Boar Bristle Brush – These kinds of brushes naturally condition hair. I don’t brush my hair very often because it’s a combination of curly/wavy and when I do, it becomes a big poof of frizz. But, boar bristle brushes reduce the frizz and can even help cut back on the need for frequent washings. Pretty cool, eh? I love mine.

  • Leave-in Conditioner – This is actually the only product I use in my hair. Crazy, right? I don’t use any curl product or anything, just leave-in conditioner. I can’t stand my hair feeling producty so I am super careful about what I put in my hair.

    • Washing less often – I was my hair about once every three or so days. I can sometimes push it out more if my hair doesn’t look too bad. It was really easy for my to do this because I don’t have naturally oily hair so my hair doesn’t get that greasy look very often. I have no advice on how to do this, other than plan on having your hair up and investing in some dry shampoo if you have oily hair.

Makeup Brush and Bag Haul

Perhaps a little known fact about me on my blog here is that I love makeup. I have more than I know what to do with, if we’re being honest here. I’ve always been pretty into makeup… I blame it on 15 years of dance competitions and recitals. I was recently contacted by Soho Beauty about reviewing some of their products. Of course I was all about that! They wanted to send me their Wonder Woman makeup bag set! YES! I love and adore Wonder Woman! But, they also sent me their Disney Princess brush collection — You guys. I can’t even begin to tell you how in love with them I am. I am super particular about makeup brushes. I’ve tried so many out there and there are very few brushes that I enjoy using. Plus you can’t go wrong with Disney Princess brushes. I mean, come on! They’re adorable.

Set of Wonder Woman Makeup Bags

So, I actually used these for our Mini Vacation to Graceland. I’m pretty pleased with how much the big bag can hold. I put my makeup in that one, the clear bag had our toothbrushes in it, and the small bag had some girly products. The small one is still in my purse and I love it!

The set of Disney Princess brushes

The brushes I got were – “Fairy Sponges”, these are part of Aurora’s collection. They’re blending sponges. Merryweather is the blue egg shaped one – used to gradually build coverage. Flora, the pink sponge, is for detailing — like for under eye concealer, etc. Fauna, the green sponge, is for large area coverage — forehead, cheeks, etc. The next box was the “Enchanted Beauty Kabuki Brush” – I was so excited about this brush. I lost my old Kabuki brush and this one is beautiful. The Tiana brushes – brow shaping (YAY!), tweezers, and a lash comb. I have naturally light, light, LIGHT blonde eyebrows (they’re also very small)  and eyelashes so I have to compensate with eyebrow color and dark mascara. The Mulan brushes are double-sided eyeshadow brushes – a fluff and liner brush, a crease and detail brush, and a brow shaping brush. The Cinderella brushes are a face band base brush – for bronzer, etc and an eye express refresh brush – for highlights on eye or blending out any harsh lines. The purple box is Jasmine. Her brushes are a complexion perfecting bush for foundation and blending and a highlight brush for, well, highlighting.

Disney Brushes 5

Something I really love about these brushes are the little princess details. Belle’s has a rose, Jasmine has the lamp, Tiana has a frog, Cinderella has a glass slipper. I LOVE that. I don’t have any complaints about any of these brushes .. which is interesting because like I said, I am very particular about my makeup brushes. I’ve been using them for just shy of a month and they’re perfect. They’re soft, the bristles don’t fall out, they clean up nicely. There were brushes that I didn’t have yet that I have been wanting to get, so it makes my makeup routine that much better in the mornings! Plus, they’re so pretty. I love how pretty they are. Each set really embodies the princesses. My favorite two favorite Disney princesses are Belle and Aurora. I would have been excited just getting those two – but all of these brushes have little details about the princess on them. It’s adorable.

Shopping Haul

This post contains referral links and affiliate links.

So, I’ve never actually done a shopping haul post but I’m pretty excited about everything that I got yesterday. And I apologize in advance for the pictures – I took them with my phone instead of my big camera, on my bed because my lightbox is downstairs in the soap room with soap in it. So, I have to make due with what I have. You understand.

First, we went to the mall to go to Rainbow and Victoria’s Secret. First up is the stuff I got from Rainbow –

This cute little dragon hoodie was only $5. Of course I had to have it. It’s a dragon AND a hoodie. My favorite things!

This devil monster hoodie was also only $5 and it’s pretty stinkin’ cute, too! rainbow3 rainbow4

I’m always looking for big earrings. i had my ears gauged to a 00g and have since taken them out. They’ve shrunk down quite a bit but still aren’t totally normal size and probably won’t ever be (Think before you gauge, kiddies!) so I have to wear big earrings that won’t slip through the hole. I found two sets that were buy one get one 50% off and they’re all perfect! I also found some clearance ballet flats for $5 – seriously, Rainbow has the best clearance sales. I love it.

Victoria’s Secret is currently having their 5/$27.40 on panties sale. I also got a coupon to get 7 for $27.50 while I was there yesterday so I’ll probably be going back. Also, VS is currently doing their secret rewards cards. It’s worth at least $10 and you can get them by shopping at the store OR by mailing in a request for one. (You can get one a day for like 29 days. So, if you’re really crazy, like me, you can send one off everyday and have at least 29 cards worth at least $10 each. If you’re bored and want to get some free swag from Victoria’s Secret!)

The last place I went was Target. Thanks to ShopKicks and ibotta it was a lot of fun. My nail polish remover ended up being $0.56/each thanks to a cartwheel deal and a catalina coupon I had. My essie polish was part of an Ibotta deal – I had been eyeballing that color for awhile now and finally decided to get it. The cute Russian nesting doll socks were only $1.50! I love socks and I love them even more when they’re that cheap! Plus, more panties…. because, Star Wars!

That’s my first shopping haul post. What do you think? What should I include next time I do one (should I even do another one?!) Let me know below!

You Have Really Pretty Hair

Yesterday, as I was piously sitting in church, totally not planning out other blogs that I want to start, I had an epiphany. Maybe it wasn’t an epiphany, it was kind of a realigning? of what I want to do with my life. The thing that makes me the most happy is writing. That’s how it’s always been. I can write about anything and thoroughly enjoy it. I pulled out my phone and started making notes about things I wanted to write about on both this blog and the mysterious soon-to-be blog. (Don’t judge me, it was near the end of service!) When service let out, I was walking out of the sanctuary and as usual, I was in my own little world not really thinking about anything except blogging.

“You have really pretty hair! Gosh, it’s gorgeous!” someone said, pulling me out of my thoughts. I managed a “Oh, you’re so sweet, thank you!” before she walked away.

Now, I’m gonna be real honest right now. I hadn’t washed my hair in at least 3 days. I barely managed to get it brushed before I had to leave the house. My hair has been a mess for God knows how long. I don’t like it. I don’t like the color, I don’t like the length, I don’t like the texture. I do. not. like. my. hair. I’ve basically accepted that it’s going to look like shit until I either pixie cut it again or let it get longer. I don’t love it curly, I don’t love it straight… I’m just not happy with my hair.

Sometimes I’m pretty.

A photo posted by Heather Sander (@thenerdyfoxblog) on

I can make it look okay enough for it to look like I’ve at least tried to put myself together. Sunday was NOT one of those days. This lady that doesn’t know, took the time to tell me I had pretty hair and it kind of made me realize that maybe… just MAYBE the things that I’m insecure about are completely ridiculous. Not everyone is going to notice that your hair isn’t perfect. Just because *I* feel like blonde hair washes me out, doesn’t mean that everyone else does. I mean, just look at the caption on that instagram photo. “Sometimes I’m pretty.” I remember posting that and thinking wow I look pretty in that picture. *captioned* I actually got accused of “fishing for compliments” on that picture. Like, let’s be real. I don’t really care if someone ELSE thinks I’m pretty. As long as I *FEEL* pretty, then I’m happy. I don’t need people to tell me I’m pretty — but like anyone else, it’s nice to be told by other people that I am pretty. I spent years in emotionally abusive relationships where I never felt good enough or pretty enough and if a stranger did happen to pay me a compliment, I was immediately shamed into thinking that they didn’t mean it. I think it just kind of took me by surprise that on that day, of all days, when I hadn’t really tried to be pretty or put together that someone said I had pretty hair. I don’t think that people realize how long words can have an impact on your psyche. It turns out that years later, I’m still struggling even on my good days.

I don’t really have a question for you guys. This was just a post that had been floating around in my head all day and I finally had a minute to sit down and write it out. I’ll gladly accept thoughts/comments/questions in the comments below!

The Nerdy Fox

Hello, 2016! I’ve already had a great start to 2016. I can’t even begin to tell you how much fun this last week has been. I am going over my reader survey (which you can still fill out here!) and I have to tell you guys that I love you all so much! I love reading your comments on the survey. I really got to a point in blogging where I didn’t think that people even enjoyed reading my posts and to find out that there are so many of you that have been sad that I haven’t been posting as much… it really made my day and gave me so much desire to get back into writing. So, I apologize for being MIA and I am really going to get back into it, I swear. PLUS I have exciting things going on in my life again (work, boyfriend, children that say the most amazing things, and of course Star Wars). I’ll be sure to keep my blog more up-to-date and I think now that I’m not in my depressive funk, I think it’ll be easier for me to write.

Let’s get started, shall we?

I love the beginning of the year because it means there are new planners out. I love and adore stationary and planners… so it makes me giddy. I recently picked up this beauty from Target and I’m currently making it mine.

The picture doesn’t do it justice – the light brown henna design is actually copper. It’s beautiful. I’m so in love with it.

Of course because it’s the new year, I also decided I need new pens (to add to my million other pens….) and got these:

Because, I love pens… and pencils. It goes along with my obsession of snail mail. I love writing. Is that a weird thing? Hmm…

The only downfall to the new year so far is that I have a cold sore. I used to get them when I was little, I think. I can’t remember but I haven’t had one …. in as long as I can remember. And my lip is huge and swollen and it’s seriously so unattractive. So, I’m trying this out to see if it’s as magical as it is claiming to be.

It’s supposed to get rid of the cold sore in a single dose. So, I’ll let you know if it really works… I have my doubts. It does feel better so far though, so maybe that’s a good sign? I don’t know. I’m actually just mortified that I have a cold sore. My mom said I used to get them all the time when I was little, whenever the weather would change. I just haven’t had one in about 20 years. (Wow, that makes me feel old saying that.) So, if you need me, I’ll be the one with the paper bag over my face until my hideous cold sore goes away.

What have you done so far this year? What is your favorite part of it being a new year? How many times have you written 2015 instead of 2016?? Let me know in the comments and join us for the link up!

The Nerdy Fox

This week I’m going to write about what I’m thankful for in a short and sweet little post.

I’m thankful for:

  • My Family – most of all my children. It might be the hardest thing I’ve ever done but each and every day, I’m thankful that they’re mine.
  • The chance to be around my family. For about 6 or so years, I didn’t live by my parents. It was really hard and I’m glad that I get to be close to them now.
  • My new friends. I hated Alabama for a long time. I’ve made some really amazing friends and that’s made a world of difference. I actually enjoy being here.
  • I’m thankful that I get to write and pursue my dreams. I have an etsy shop that is doing amazingly well, I have a blog that is doing great. These are things that I never thought I would accomplish simply because I’ve never been given the opportunity to actually pursue those dreams. I still want to write a book, and maybe someday I will. But for now, I have my blog and that’s more than enough. I always have wanted to make soap and have a shop with my mom. We’re half way there. Maybe someday we’ll be able to actually have a store front that it just filled with our soaps and bath products. But for now we have etsy and local markets and we’re doing so well. So I’m thankful and happy.
  • I’m thankful for my reader. Yes, all of them… even the ones that leave me mean comments. I read every single comment I get. I know who my regular readers are and I know who my trolls are. I’m thankful that I’m at a point in blogging where it doesn’t upset me as much to get a mean comment. I’m also thankful that despite the mean comments I’m flooded with nice things by my regular readers! Seriously, without you guys, my blog would be nothing. I’m planning on writing a lot more. Things in my life have calmed down. You’re awesome and I love you!
  • I’m thankful for Social Media. I know, crazy, huh? I love instagram. I don’t know what I’d do without it. Plus, I’ve met some really awesome people because of social media. So, yay!

That’s my short and sweet list. You can add your thankful list OR your TILT post below!

[inlinkz_linkup id=584959 mode=1]

My Etsy Shop is having a black friday sale. You can stop by and look around, if you’re wanting to try natural, homemade soaps!

Tell me what you’re thankful for in the comments below!

My Beauty Must Haves

I have been kind of dragging on what I should post about lately. I have a long list of things that I NEED to do and it just is kind of taking the fun out of blogging. It stinks. However, I’m excited about this one! I wanted to share with you guys some of my beauty must haves. Now, I don’t wear a ton of make up; Alabama is entirely too hot for much more than a tinted moisturizer. I keep my make up routine pretty simple. I wash morning and night with Activated Charcoal soap (made by yours truly!) – it’s all natural and doesn’t have any added gunk. It leaves my face feeling LOVELY! It also keeps me acne-free, I don’t know how many of you are my age (Almost 28…) and still have to deal with acne, but if you do, you know how much of a pain in the rear it is! I had tried everything – proactive, every clean and clear, any “new” product for acne. Nothing worked. It all just dried out my face so I decided to go the natural route. I am so pleased with it that I can’t even recommend it enough! If you’re struggling with any kind of acne, at any age, try this soap! Seriously.

Secondly, I moisturize. I have tried a handful of serums and overall I’m not super impressed with many of them.. Until this. serum

About the Product
24K Gold Serum Vitamin C – PH balanced and highly absorbable. Brightens skin, combats wrinkles and dark spots. Vitamin E moisturizes.
Rose Extract soothes the skin and gives the Xanadu serum a delightful natural scent.
Hyaluronic Acid captures and holds up to 1000 times its volume in moisture to your skin.
The Perfect Vitamin C Serum for your face, made from Organic botanical extracts and leading-edge technology.
Apply 1 pump Morning and Night, avoiding eye area.

I have been using it as directed and I can tell you that it has all of the things that I have wanted from other serums. It has the moisturizing Hyaluronic Acid, Vitamin C, Rose extract, and plus, 24k Gold flakes. Now, I know what you’re thinking, “Really? You need to put something that has 24k gold flakes in it on your face? … Really??”, before you judge me – IT MAKES YOUR FACE FEEL SO AMAZING! I have dry skin. Constantly. I am always putting on lotion, always worrying about what is in products and avoiding ingredients that will dry me out. I don’t even have to worry about it now! My face feels amazing ALL the time. I don’t have any signs of dryness. It doesn’t feel heavy or gross on my face – it absorbs right into my skin. I hardly have to wait. It doesn’t make my face feel greasy or oily. I am in love with it. I’ve been using it for a bit now and still have a ton left in the bottle. A little goes a long way. So, it is definitely worth the money.

Next, I will apply a tinted moisturizer or mix some face lotion with a bit of my regular foundation and make my own tinted moisturizer. I’ve been using whatever face lotion Ipsy has sent me. (sign up for ipsy here!) fileAsset This lotion is amazing – it smells wonderful and is light enough that I don’t feel like there is a ton of it on my face. I just mix a little foundation with it and bam! tinted moisturizer!

I follow this up with a a quick eyelash curl with this bad boy:

f882273feaa71d63629209d936ed0afc7161497b and some eyeshadow and of course mascara. Now, I have super blonde eyelashes (and eyebrows – it’s a curse, really.) and so I have a hard time with mascara. I either love it and they stop making it, or I hate it and never want to use it. So, I have been hearing a lot of hype about those 3D fiber lashes and I was a little skeptical at first. I mean, my blondies are going to show, right? Plus, do they REALLY make your lashes look longer?? Guess what, THEY DO! I’ve tried 2 different brands and I have to tell you that I found one more impressive than the other one.

(This is their image, not mine!)

It’s a 3 step process but it’s SO worth it! I love how they make my eyelashes look. I was worried that they would hit on my glasses, and while my eyelashes are longer, they don’t really interfere with my glasses at all. Mia Adora is such a great brand and all of their products are lovely! I have been so impressed with both my eyelash curler and my mascara. I use them both every single day. My eyelashes look on point and I get compliments on them constantly.

What is your make up routine and/or your beauty must haves?

Organize: Make Up

12X30 Challenge January: The Love Yourself Challenge

My So-Called Chaos and Chasing My Extraordinary have this great monthly link up. This months theme is organize. Now, being that I moved less that a year a go, I don’t really have a ton of clutter. In fact, if we’re being honest, I don’t really have a lot of anything, anymore. Anyway, I sat down to put on my make up and realized how much of a mess my make up drawer was. It’s actually kind of embarrassing.

See? It’s just a mess of … mess. So, I had these baskets from either the Dollar Tree or Dollar General, that I originally had bought for my bathbomb displays at farmer’s markets. Well, it turns out that they’re great for organizing make up.

All Done!

I went through and separated everything by what it was. So basically everything that was for lips went into one basket, eyeshadow went into another, blush, powder, and foundation into another. I have a ton of eyeliner and eyebrow stuff (the curse of having small, blonde eyebrows) so that stuff all went into it’s own basket. While organizing it, if went through and if it was broken or hadn’t been used in the last couple of months, I threw it out. I also cleaned all my brushes and put them into a new jar. It looks sooooo much better now that I can’t even begin to tell you how happy I am with it.

The best part is, it only took me about 15 minutes to do. All you need to do is go in with a plan. My plan was, “If I haven’t used it in the last 2 months, it has got to go!” this made the process a lot faster. I know what I use regularly and I know which products I love and which ones I don’t. Fortunately, I don’t get super attached to my make up (nail polish though, that’s a different story!) so I don’t have a problem throwing it away if I don’t like it.

What do you think?
